For BMW motorcycles R and K series with the electronic turn-signal-cancel (TSC) on the right switch cluster, early 1990s and until the end of all (Oilhead R-259) R1150, R1200C, R1200CL and K1200RS and GT to 2005. For K1200LT until 2008.
Special version activates your hidden garage door remote. Takes 2 quick pulses of the TSC. Closes a tiny onboard relay contact for 2 seconds. This then simulates the pushbutton on your garage door remote control. Requires opening up your remote to solder in 2 wires at right location. OR we modify your remote for $23 post paid.

AutoSwitch model 5NB works by sensing the chassis-ground connection from the TSC when the button is held for more than 1.2 second. The visual LED blinks rapidly during the timed "window" up to 10 seconds long when you should release the TSC button. The single tap on the TSC button to cancel the turn signal will not activate the Autoswitch. LED shines green to indicate power to your auxiliary lights relay.

For all motorcycles (& Cars/SUVs etc) because it senses the power going to the high beam bulb/headlight. Autoswitch detects the high beam wire only inside the 1.2 second to 10 seconds span. It will work with any other +12VDC timed source on the car or bike as well.
The visual LED blinks rapidly during the timed "window" up to 10 seconds long when you should release the trigger signal (high beam switch).
The single tap to flash the high beams or leaving the high beams on will not activate the Autoswitch. LED shines green to indicate power to your auxiliary lights relay. |
