The Autoswitch works by looking for a 0.8 to
1.8 second pulse at your high beam power wire. Every car and European motorcycles have a
momentary or spring loaded flash side to the high beam switch. For
American & Japanese bikes just turn on the high beams for aproximately 1 second then
turn them off again. So, simply flash your high beams for 1 second (actually 0.8 to 1.8
second) and your auxiliary lights turn on. Do it again and they turn off. Its that
simple. When you turn off your headlights, your auxiliary lights turn off too! |

To Turn Off The Driving Lights |
You can still do the normal quick flash to signal others in traffic, the Autoswitch
wont be confused with that! Or turn on your high beams to leave them on, the
Autoswitch wont be confused! Careful consideration has gone into the design, the 1
second pulse is easy to understand and remember. Dont worry if you are off a bit,
the generous 0.8 to 1.8 second window is perfect, yet a quick flash to another
motorist wont confuse the Autoswitch! There is even a tiny LED that tells you when to
release your hi-beam and when your aux. Lights are on.
The green LED flashes rapidly during
the time you should release the high beam switch or turn off the high beams. |

If your high beams are ON and you want to turn ON the driving lights, you first turn OFF
the high beams, then do the sequence above, then turn ON the high beams again to be left
on. This sounds like a lot but its a rare instance like this. Normally you have the low
beam ON, then you upgrade to the driving liights, and finally if more light is still
desired, you turn on the high beams to leave them on.
